Report: Tony Ferguson Has Had Restraining Order Filed Against Him by Wife
By FCF Staff
Following the surprising news that Tony Ferguson would not fight for the UFC’s interim title in April, it’s being reported the fighter’s wife has filed a restraining order against him
The former interim lightweight champ reportedly had the restraining order filed against him by his wife on Wednesday, according to a report from MMA Junkie. Documents the outlet has obtained report Ferguson allegedly has had several incidents in recent months of acting erratically.
The restraining order has been filed due to allegations of domestic violence, however, no details were provided. The court defines a restraining order for allegations of domestic violence as an “order that helps protect people from abuse or threats of abuse from someone they have a close relationship with.”
Ferguson was not charged in any of the situations reported in the documents.
