It’s being reported that Tony Ferguson’s path back to the win column, will need to go through Beneil Dariush.

The 37-year-old Ferguson (25-5) is coming off consecutive losses to Justin Gaethje and Charles Oliveira, after winning 12 straight. The former interim lightweight champ lost via TKO to Gaethje last May, and then by decision to Oliveira in December.

According to a report from MMA Junkie, sources have told the outlet Ferguson is expected to fight Dariush at UFC 262, May 15th.

The 31-year-old Dariush (20-4-1), meanwhile, has won six in a row. In his last outing, in February, he recorded a split decision win over Diego Ferreira.

The location for UFC 262 has yet to be determined.
