Ronda Rousey’s long awaited return did not set a new pay-per-view record for the UFC, but the recent UFC 207 card reportedly drew over one million PPV buys.

The star faced bantamweight champ Amanda Nunes at the December 30th event, and Rousey was quickly stopped in the opening round. The fight was the first time Rousey had competed, since she was KO’d by Holly Holm in November, 2015.

According to a recent report from MMA Fighting, preliminary estimates indicate that the card drew 1.1 million PPV purchases. That figure makes it one of the year’s best, in terms of PPV buys, but not the leader. UFC 202 in August, which featured Nate Diaz – Conor McGregor II, is believed to have pulled around 1.6 million PPV purchases. That is the promotion’s record.

UFC 207 also featured a bantamweight title fight between Dominick Cruz and Cody Garbrandt. The latter won the contest via unanimous decision.
