After this month’s UFC 217 card in New York, UFC President Dana White said the card was trending to have sold over a million pay-per-view buys, and new estimates indicate that could have happened.

The November 4th card featured the return of Georges St-Pierre, who went on to choke Michael Bisping out and become middleweight champion. In addition, the card saw Cody Garbrandt lose the bantamweight title to T.J. Dillashaw, and Rose Namajunas defeat Joanna Jedrzejczyk to become strawweight champ.

According to a new report from MMA Fighting, early estimates indicate that the card sold 875,000 pay-per-view buys in North America. Those figures also don’t include sales on the Internet.

The 875,000 figure would make UFC 217 the top selling, PPV card of the year for the promotion.
