Josh Samman

After falling into a coma last week, multiple outlets are reporting that UFC fighter Josh Samman has passed away at the age of 28.

Samman was found unresponsive in South Florida several days ago, alongside his friend Troy Kirkingburg, who was pronounced dead. According to multiple reports on Wednesday, however, officials in Broward County (Fla.) have confirmed that Samman has died. The cause of death has not yet been announced.

Samman, who was coming off a stoppage loss to Tim Boetsch, was also a writer and the author of “The Housekeeper: Love, Death & Prizefighting.”
