With Tim Means no longer available for UFC Fight Night 83, due to a potential anti-doping violation, the promotion is hoping to book “Cowboy” vs. “Cowboy”.

According to a report from Combate, and a follow up report from MMA Fighting.com, the UFC is targeting Alex Oliveira as Means’ replacement. According to to the latter report the UFC is still working on a visa for the Brazilian fighter.

Oliveira (13-3-1) is coming off a KO win over Piotr Hallmann in November and has won three in a row.

Cerrone (28-7) was taken out by lightweight champ Rafael dos Anjos in December, which snapped his eight fight winning streak.

UFC FN 83 will be hosted by Pittsburgh on February 21st.
