UFC on FOX 14 featured a pivotal light-heavyweight bout between Alexander Gustafsson and Anthony Johnson, and according to the preliminary numbers, the card did very well, ratings wise.

Saturday’s card took place in Stockholm, Sweden, and saw Johnson lock up a title fight with champion Jon Jones, by stopping Gustafsson in the opening round. The card also featured the legendary Dan Henderson, who was TKO’d by middleweight Gegard Mousasi in the first round.

According to a report from TV By The Numbers, the overnight figures show that UFC on FOX 14 drew an average of 2.82 million viewers, which is the most for any UFC / FOX card since January, 2013. That event pulled 3.3 million viewers, according to overnight numbers, and saw flyweight champ Demetrious Johnson score a unanimous decision win over John Dodson.

It should be noted that final figures for UFC on FOX 14 will be higher, as these numbers do not reflect all of the West Coast audiences.
