The UFC’s hoping to book a bout between two of the lightweight division’s top strikers, as it’s being reported a fight between Drew Dober and Brad Riddell is closed to being finalized.

Dober (23-10, 1 NC) is looking to get back on track, following his submission loss to Islam Makhachev in March. Prior to that Dober had won three straight.

According to a report from MMA Junkie, two sources have confirmed the UFC is close to booking Dober – Riddell for the June 12, UFC 263 card.

Riddell (9-1), meanwhile, has won six straight and has gone 3-0 to date in the UFC. In his last outing, in September, Riddell outscored Alex da Silva Coelho for the decision win.

UFC 263 will feature a rematch between flyweight champ Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno. The fighters battled to a draw in their first fight last December.
