It looks as though undefeated prospect Thomas Almeida is headed to the UFC, not long after he laid claim to Legacy FC’s bantamweight title on June 20th.

Almeida stopped Caio Machada in the first round at Legacy FC 32 to secure the belt, and move his record to 17-0.

According to a report from the Brazilian outlet MMA Premium, and a follow up report from MMA Fighting.com, Almeida has signed with the UFC.

No news of when the Chute Boxe fighter will make his Octagon debut was disclosed.

The 22 year-old fighter made his pro debut in 2011 and has won all 17 of his bouts via submission, TKO or knockout.
