Report: UFC Targeting Edson Barboza – Sodiq Yusuff Bout

It looks like Sodiq Yusuff will be Edson Barboza’s second opponent at featherweight, as it’s being reported the UFC’s working on adding that bout to its October schedule.
The former lightweight contender Barboza (20-9) is coming off a tightly contested, split decision loss to Dan Ige in May. The bout was Barboza’s first at 145 pounds.
According to a report from MMA Junkie, sources have confirmed the UFC is planning to have Barboza and Yusuff fight on October 10th.
Yusuff (11-1), meanwhile, has won six straight fights and defeated Andre Fili by decision in his last bout, which took place in January.
