The UFC continues to plan fights for its December schedule, and it’s being reported one of them is a showdown between Jose Aldo and Rob Font.

According to reports, Aldo and Font have agreed to fight at the UFC’s December 4th card. The bout will serve as the card’s five-round main event. As this is being written, contracts for the fight have not been signed.

Ariel Helwani was reportedly the first to report the bout is being planned.

Aldo (30-7) is coming off a decision win over Pedro Munhoz in August. The former featherweight champ has gone 2-2 since he dropped down to bantamweight.

Font (19-4), meanwhile, has won four straight. In his last outing, this past May, he recorded a decision win over Cody Garbrandt.

Currently, Font is ranked #4 in the UFC’s bantamweight division and Aldo is #5.

The December 4th card is expected to take place at the Apex Facility in Las Vegas.
