After ending its broadcasting deal with FOX a couple of years ago, the UFC is reportedly close to making its network return.

It’s being reported that the UFC and ABC are close to finalizing a deal which would see part of the promotion’s January 16th card in Abu Dhabi air on the network. The card will feature former featherweight champ Max Holloway taking on Calvin Kattar in the main event.

News of the pending agreement has been reported by MMA Junkie as well as other outlets. The Twitter handle @DonKingLV was the first to report news of the pending deal.

Following the end of the UFC’s broadcasting agreement with FOX, the promotion’s broadcasting partner in the United States has been ESPN.
