Not long after it was confirmed that Vitor Belfort will battle Chris Weidman in Los Angeles next February, instead of Las Vegas, the middleweight has reportedly been submitted a random drug test by the Nevada Commission.

When Belfort was granted a license by the commission earlier this year, the former testosterone-replacement-therapy user was informed he could be randomly drug tested at any time. Recently it was reported, however, that Belfort had yet to be tested.

Well, according to a new report from Yahoo Sports, a representative for the Nevada Commission collected both urine and blood samples from Belfort this weekend in Florida. The results of the tests are not expected for approximately two weeks.

Belfort and Weidman were originally scheduled to fight on December 6th, but the champion incurred a hand injury and had to withdraw. Now the two are booked to fight February 28th at UFC 184, which will be hosted by the Staples Center in L.A.
