After having his UFC debut canceled three times, it’s being reported that Umar Nurmagomedov has been rebooked to fight Sergey Morozov.

Nurmagomedov, who is the younger cousin of UFC lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov, has been scheduled to fight Morozov on January 23rd. Morozov told the TASS new agency that he has been booked to fight Nurmagomedov at UFC 257, and MMA Junkie is also reporting the match-up.

Nurmagomedov (12-0) was most recently scheduled to fight Morozov at UFC 254 in October. But, a staph infection forced him to withdraw. The Dagestani fighter hasn’t competed since October 2019.

Morozov (16-4), is a former M-1 Global bantamweight champion and has won five-straight bouts. The Kazakhstan fighter, who will be making his UFC debut, also hasn’t fought since last October.

UFC 257 is expected to take place in Abu Dhabi. A lightweight fight between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier will headline.
