Shavkat Rakhmonov has his next assignment, as it’s being reported the rising welterweight will take on Carlston Harris.

Since joining the UFC in 2020, Rakhmonov (14-0) has extended his winning streak by recording submission wins over  Alex Oliveira and Michel Prazeres. The 27-year-old’s latter victory took place this past January.

According to an initial report from Freak MMA, and a follow-up report from MMA Junkie, Rakhmonov will face Harris at the UFC’s February 5 card. No venue or location has been announced for the vent.

Harris (17-4) is coming off a first-round, stoppage win over Impa Kasanganay in September. The 34-year-old has gone 2-0 in the UFC to date and has won five straight.
