Report: Uriah Hall – Yoel Romero Fight Targeted For August
By FCF Staff
The fight isn’t official yet, but it’s being reported that the UFC is working on finalizing a fight between Uriah Hall and Yoel Romero.
A date for the contest has yet to be selected. But the UFC is hoping to book the fight for sometime in August, according to a report from ESPN.
Hall (15-9) hasn’t fought since September, when he worked his way to a split decision win over Antonio Carlos Jr. The highlight reel striker has gone 3-2 in his last 5 fights.
Romero (13-5) faced middleweight champion Israel Adesanya this past March and lost the bout via unanimous decision. The powerful wrestler has lost three straight and is 2-3 in his last 5 bouts.
Hall is currently ranked #10 in the UFC’s middleweight division and Romero is #4.
