By FCF Staff

Urijah Faber has said in recent weeks that a comeback was very possible, and now it’s being reported the UFC Hall of Famer has agreed to face Ricky Simon in his Octagon return.

Recently Faber confirmed to Dan Hardy that he’s accepted a fight. Since then, Dave Meltzer reported “The California Kid” has agreed to face Simon at the UFC’s July 13th card in Sacramento. MMA Junkie has also confirmed with a source that verbal agreements are in place for the bout.

The 40-year-old Faber (34-10) retired back in 2016, after he earned a decision win over Brad Pickett at a UFC card in Sacramento.

The 26-year-old Simon (15-1) has gone 3-0 in the UFC to date, and the bantamweight’s coming off a UD win over Rani Yahya in February.
