Report: Vinny Magalhaes no Longer Competing at Titan FC 28
By FCF Staff
It looks as though the staph infection which prevented Vinny Magalhaes from grappling Keenan Cornelius at Metamoris III this weekend, has pulled him from Titan FC 28 as well.
The light-heavyweight was scheduled to fight fellow UFC vet Jason Brilz at the April 25th card, which will go down in Kansas City, Kansas. According to a report from MMA Fighting.com, however, Magalhaes will not compete in the main event as scheduled.
Magalhaes reported via Twitter, prior to Metamoris III, that he required medical attention at the hospital to battle the serious infection.
The renowned grappler hasn’t fought since UFC 163 last August, when he was knocked out by Anthony Perosh.
