By FCF Staff
After his alleged involvement in a violent incident with his former girlfriend Christy Mack earlier this summer, War Machine (Jon Koppenhaver) has been charged with 32 offenses including attempting murder.
According to a report from the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the UFC and Bellator vet has been charged with multiple counts, including “attempted murder, sexual assault, battery, coercion, preventing or dissuading a witness or victim from reporting a crime, and first-degree kidnapping resulting in substantial bodily harm.”
The fighter appeared in a Las Vegas court on Wednesday.
Shortly after the August incident, Koppenhaver claimed he acted in self defense, while Mack has claimed he attacked her and an associate. Mack suffered multiple injuries during the incident and was hospitalized.
War Machine had been competing for Bellator, but was released by the promotion after news of the incident surfaced.
