Report: WSOF Champ Marlon Moraes to Face TUF 18 Vet Josh Hill
By FCF Staff
After relaying David Branch will defend the middleweight title against Yushin Okami next, World Series of Fighting has also announced the next challenger for bantamweight champ Marlon Moraes.
Moraes will reportedly take on former TUF competitor, and undefeated Canadian, Josh Hill. The bout will take place on September 13th, according to a report from Yahoo Sports, which cites the promotion’s vice president Ali Abdelaziz as the source.
The venue for WSOF 13 has not been determined yet, but Abdelaziz said the card is likely to take place in Pennsylvania.
Moraes (13-4-1) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Josh Rettinghouse in March, after knocking out Carson Beebe at WSOF 6 last October. The Brazilian has won 7 bouts in a row.
Hill (10-0) competed at WSOF Canada II in June, and knocked out Mike Adams in the first round. The fight marked the first time that Hill had fought since he competed on TUF 18.
