The upcoming July 7^th, UFC 148 card apparently has a new addition, as lightweight Yoislandy “Cuba” Izquierdo will look to rebound from a loss in his Octagon debut against Reza Madadi in April, and will fight Rafaello “Tractor” Oliveira at the event.

Mundus Sports Management, which represents Izquierdo, recently announced the bout via its Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Prior to his submission loss to Madadi at the UFC on FUEL TV 2 card in April, Izquierdo had won six straight fights since he began fighting professionally in 2010. Four of the decorated Karate and San Shou competitor’s victories have come via stoppage or submission.

Oliveira (14-5) will be looking to end a two fight losing streak, as the BJJ black belt is coming off losses to Gleison Tibau and Yves Edwards. Prior to the defeats Oliveira had won four straight competing outside the UFC.

UFC 148 will be hosted by the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada and will feature a rematch between UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen in the main event.
