Reports: Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov Has Died Due to COVID-19 Complications

Recently there were signs that Khabib Nurmagomedov’s father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, may be improving. But according to reports coming out of Russia, the renowned coach has passed away due to COVID-19 complications.
Nurmagomedov was hospitalized in April due to having pneumonia-like symptoms. But eventually, it was reported that he had contracted COVID-19 and suffered a heart attack and two strokes.
There had been reports that the 57-year-old was improving, slowly. But, according to a report from Sputnik International, citing confirmation from Head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, Nurmagomedov has died.
