Resurrection Fighting Alliance held its latest event Friday night in Culver City, and Kevin Casey laid claim to the promotion’s middleweight title in violent fashion.

The UFC vet secured the vacant championship by knocking out Aaron Sanchez with a flurry of punches in round one.

The event also saw Lyoto Machida’s brother, Chinzo Machida, work his way to a unanimous decision win over Dmitry Gerasimov.
