Ricky Simon – Song Yadong Fight Moved Into April 29 Headlining Slot
By FCF Staff
A compelling bantamweight fight between Ricky Simon and Song Yadong will no longer take place this Saturday at the UFC’s latest event. As the promotion has announced the fight will now headline the UFC’s April 29th card.
That event was scheduled to feature a lightweight bout between Arman Tsarukyan and Renato Moicano. But, following a reported injury to the latter, the UFC’s announced Simon – Yadong will now headline that card.

Yadong (19-7-1) is coming off a TKO loss (due to a doctor stoppage) to Cory Sandhagen in September. The bantamweight is 3-2 in his last 5 fights.
Simon (20-3), meanwhile, is riding a five-fight winning streak. In his last outing, in July, 2022, Simon submitted Jack Shore.
The April 29th card will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This coming Saturday’s UFC Fight Night card will feature a bout between heavyweight contenders Curtis Blaydes and Sergei Pavlovich in the main event.
