Fast rising heavyweight Ciryl Gane has his next bout, as the undefeated fighter is going to face Shamil Abdurakhimov.

Recently the UFC announced that the heavyweights will battle at its April 18th card in Brooklyn, New York.

Gane (6-0) has won all three of his UFC bouts to date and most recently in December, he recorded a decision win over Tanner Boser. That bout marked the first time Gane has gone the distance in a pro-MMA bout.

Abdurakhimov (20-5) will be looking to get back on track, as he was stopped by contender Curtis Blaydes in September. Prior to that the veteran fighter had won three straight.

UFC 248 will be headlined by a lightweight title fight between champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson.
