RIZIN FF Finalizes July 30th Card With Two More Bouts

The card has been finalized with 11 total fights for Japan’s most anticipated event this summer, with the announcement of 2 more woman’s fights. RIZIN FIGHTING WORLD GP 2017 – Summer event, scheduled to take place on July 30th at the Saitama Super Arena will be welcoming 8 woman fighters with the addition of Gabi Garcia vs Oksana Gagloeva, and Shinju Auclair vs Sheena Star fights, which was announced today.

Previously announced bouts include high profiled fights for the RIZIN GP 2017 including former UFC title contender Kyoji Horiguchi (19-2) vs Japanese fan favorite Hideo Tokoro (34-29-2), and former UFC standout Anthony Birchak (13-4) vs DEEP Bantamweight Champion Takafumi Otsuka (22-13-2) along with Heavyweight standout Amir Aliakbari (6-1) vs Belator and WSOF veteran Tyler King (12-5).

Currently ranked the number one heavy weight female MMA fighter and multiple time jiu jitsu world champion, Gabi Garcia (4-0) has been demolishing every opponent put in front of her. Garcia will be facing a 4 time Russian National Boxing champion Oksana Gagloeva (Debut), making her MMA debut. Gagloeva has been going back and forth between Russia and Greece, where she mostly gets her boxing fights and experience and is most definitely the most accomplished striker Garcia has ever faced. The Russian National champion stands 5 foot 9 inches and weighs 225lbs.

RIZIN FIGHTING FEDERATION has been putting emphasis in their woman’s division, and will be welcoming some new talent, making their professional debuts. Shinju Auclair, originally from San Francisco, will be making her professional debut against Sheena Star from Michigan, who will also be making her professional debut.

Also announced, the schedule for the rest of 2017, which confirmed the venue for the Bantamweight GP’s opening round for bracket B, and the opening round for the woman’s GP.
