The UFC continues to book fights for the promotion’s spring schedule as recently Dana White confirmed that a bout between Robert Whittaker and Paulo Costa has been set.

Recently, White announced that the two will battle at UFC 298, which will take place on February 17th in Anaheim, California.

Whittaker (24-7) is looking to get back on track, as the former middleweight champ was stopped by Dricus du Plessis in July. The 33-year-old is 3-2 in his last 5 fights.

Costa (14-2), meanwhile, hasn’t competed since August, 2022, when he recorded a unanimous decison win over Luke Rockhold. The 32-year-old was expected to fight Khamzat Chimaev in October, but he had to withdraw due to a staph infection.

Costa is also 3-2 in his last 5 fights.

UFC 298 will be headlined by a bout between featherweight champion Alexander Volkvanoski and Ilia Topuria.
