Robin van Roosmalen Tells UFC “to Let me Know” if They’re Interested in GLORY Champ
By FCF Staff
After laying claim to GLORY’s featherweight title last weekend, Robin van Roosmalen has let it be known he’d be interested in competing for the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Van Roosmalen won the title by stopping Gabriel Varga in the SuperFight Series portion of GLORY 34, which was streamed live on UFC Fight Pass. After the bout, van Roosmalen had this to say about MMA and the UFC, while discussing Fight Pass (quote via Bloody Elbow.com):
“[It’s] a big channel and I am happy to fight on it. I hope people enjoyed [my fight] so I can perform more on it. I love MMA, it’s also a passion of mine, so UFC, if you want some extra fights, some nice fights, let me know!”
The Dutch kickboxer was GLORY’s lightweight champion until he lost the belt to Sittichai Sitsongpeenong at GLORY 31 in June.
