Ronnie Mann Returning to Bellator in 2012

By FCF Staff

Bellator has confirmed that Britain’s Ronnie Mann will return to the promotion in 2012 and will compete in the upcoming, Season Six featherweight tournament.

Mann (21-4-1) advanced to the semifinals of Bellator’s “Summer Series” event earlier in the year. After knocking out Adam Schindler in the competition’s opening round in June, Mann lost by unanimous decision to tourney winner Pat Curran approximately one month later.

The Sengoku veteran returned to Bellator in October, and submitted Kenny Foster with a first round, triangle-choke.

The 25 year-old Mann is 8-2 in his last 10 fights, with his only loss during that stretch coming to the highly regarded Hatsu Hioki, who submitted him at Sengoku 8 in 2009.

Bellator’s Season Six gets underway on March 2nd. All of the season’s respective tournaments will be broadcast live on MTV 2.
