Rory MacDonald Signs With The Professional Fighters League
By FCF Staff
Rory MacDonald’s time with Bellator has concluded, as the former champ has confirmed he’s signed with the Professional Fighters League.
The 30-year-old Canadian and former UFC welterweight contender recently confirmed the move to ESPN.
“I’m excited to join the PFL where every year the world championship and $1 million belt is there for the best fighter, without any games or politics,” MacDonald said. “I believe in the PFL sport-season format and fighters-first organization.”
MacDonald’s (21-6-1) Bellator deal concluded following his decision loss to champion Douglas Lima in October. MacDonald moved from the UFC to Bellator back in 2017, and during his run with the promotion he went 3-2-1.
