The UFC officially announced Rose Namajuanas versus Carla Esparza 2 is set for UFC 274, which is scheduled for May 7th. Bout will be contested for the straw weight(115lbs)title. Location will be at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

Rose Namajuanas and Carla Esparza first fought each other at the Ultimate Fighter season 20 finale for the first ever straw weight(115lbs)title, where Carla Esparza defeated Namajuanas via third round submission(rear naked choke).

Ever since her defeat to Esparza, Namajuanas has won 9 out of her last 11 bouts. She won the straw weight title twice in that run beating the likes of Zhang Weili, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, and Jessica Andrade.

Esparza is also on a impressive run of her own winning her last five bouts and is looking to regain the straw weight title again.
