Score Fighting Series has added a bout between noted Canadian featherweight Lyndon Whitlock and Roufusport prospect Rick Glenn to its October 19th card in Sarnia, Ontario. The event will be televised on The Score Network in Canada and AXS TV in the U.S.

Whitlock (7-2) is coming off a knockout win over Cory Houston at SFS 4 in March, to rebound from the stoppage loss he suffered versus Tristan Johnson at SFS 2 last October.

“It was a minor setback for me and I can’t let my emotions get in the way of my preparation for this next fight,” the 27 year-old Whitlock said in a press release from the promotion. “If it’s given me any advantage at all, it’s that I’ve been able to see Rick fight and he’s not been able to watch me. He’s a very well rounded fighter and I’m expecting it to be a really tough fight.”

Glenn (11-2) continued his rise up the featherweight rankings at SFS 5 last month by stopping the aforementioned Johnson in the second round. The 23 year-old-fighter is undefeated in his last nine bouts.

“I’m glad he stepped-up but he’s like a wall in my way,” said Glenn, who went 15-1 as an amateur. “I’m going to blast through him.”

SFS has also confirmed that lightweight Jason Meisel (3-1) will face Eric Attard (4-3) at the October 19th event.
