It looks like 2020 will come and go without Ryan Hall competing. But, the featherweight contender recently proposed a January showdown with Dan Ige.

Hall (8-1) hasn’t fought now since July 2019, when he outscored Darren Elkins for the decision win. Recently the former TUF winner and feared, submission artist shared out the proposal below, via social media.

“Cleared to fight, and back to normal training, but still struggling to find an opponent. I know Sean Shelby will find a good one, but here is a thought:

Dan Ige is a warrior who always puts on a great show, has clearly demonstrated a willingness to test himself against the best, and we’re next door in the featherweight rankings. What do you think, @dynamitedan808? Fight Island in January?”

Hall was scheduled to fight Ricardo Lamas this past August but was forced out of the bout due to an injury.

Ige (14-3) last competed in July and lost to Calvin Kattar via decision. Prior to that, he had won six straight.
