Sean O’Malley versus Petr Yan announced for UFC 280, which is scheduled for October 22nd. Bout will be contested at bantamweight(135lbs). Location will be at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. Fight was announced by Sean O’Malley himself in an interview with Ryan Clark.
Sean O’Malley is looking to get back on track after his no contest against Pedro Munoz at UFC 276. This will be O’Malley’s second opponent in the top 10.
Petr Yan is also looking to get back on the win column after losing his bantamweight title bout against Aljamain Sterling last May.
