Shark Fights has begun to announce the line-up for the promotion’s upcoming, debut event in Las Vegas, Nevada, which will go down at the Nugget Hotel and Casino Resort on August 19^th.

In the main event, former Octagon competitor Shane Nelson (13-5) will take on former King of the Cage champ Aaron Wetherspoon (8-3), while in the co-headliner, former MFC light-heavyweight champion Emanuel Newton (15-6-1) will fight BJJ black belt Ricky Shivers (10-5-1).

The promotion has also confirmed that jiu-jitsu champion and Blackhouse Team Nogueira instructor Adriano Camolese (4-1) will compete on the card, however, no opponent has been announced.

In addition, Shark Fights has also confirmed that veterans Ruben “Warpath” Villareal (19-21-3) and Dave Huckaba (15-4) will both compete on the August 19^th card; opponents will be announced shortly.

Shark Fights 18 will be broadcast via tape delay on Fuel TV, September 2^nd.
