SFT 24: Cabecao vs Jacare This Saturday in Sao Paulo, Brazil

Two of Brazil’s highest rated light heavyweights, Leonardo “Cabecao” Silva (16-4-0) and Cassio “Jacare” de Oliveira (19-9-1), will make their respective SFT MMA & Xtreme (Standout Fighting Tournament) debuts on November 14, headlining “SFT 24: Cabecao vs. Jacare” in Sao Paulo, Brazil

SFT 24: Cabecao vs. Jacare will air live on network television in Brazil in English and Portuguese, as well as streamed live in the United States and worldwide on pay per view via the FITE app and website (www.FITE.tv
), starting at 6:30 p.m. EST / 3:30 p.m. PST, for only $14.99.

Silva vs. de Oliveira is a classic match-up between veteran Brazilian fighters in the main event. Silva, 28, has been victorious in four of his last five fights, while 37-year-old de Oliveira has won his last two MMA matches.

In the co-featured event, popular lightweight Elder “Bebe Monstro” Amorin (10-3-0, SFT: 1-0-0) takes on dangerous Thaigo “Machinha” Silva (18-8-0, who will be making his SFT debut. Amorin has won his last three fights, including his decision over Joelsa Nascimento last September at SFT 11. Thiago has won two straight and four of his last five.

Undefeated lightweight prospect Manoel “Manumito” Sousa (5-0-0, SFT 5-0-0) puts his perfect pro record on the line against Estabili Amato (10-3-0, SFT: 2-1-0). The 23-year-old Sousa, whose fought all five times in SFT MMA, steps up in terms of competition versus Amato.

Brazilian flyweight Joao “Alicate” Elias (13-2-1, SFT: 0-0-0) rides a 4-fight win streak, taking seven of his last eight fights, into his SFT debut against Soslenis “Grilinho” Silva (10-10-0, SFT: 0-2-0).

Brazilian bantamweights Eududes “Bahia” Viana and Bruno “Perna” Santos will go to war in an SFT Xtreme fight. The fan-friendly Xtreme competition SFT Xtreme allows striking, kicking and knees, fighters wear 4-ounce gloves, and prohibits clinching and fighting on the mat.

Mexican flyweight Maria Guadalupe “Tito” Duran faces Elaine Gomes, of Brazil, in a battle of pro-debuting flyweights.
