Shane Wiggand vs. Marko Huusansaari Confirmed for Jan. 7th Dare FC

Dare Fight Sports has confirmed the first lightweight tilt that will take place at the promotion’s upcoming January 7th event in Bangkok, Thailand, as Shane Wiggand will take on Marko Huusansaari.

Wiggand is a judo black belt and veteran Muay Thai competitor, who has reportedly gone 5-10 to date in MMA action. The fighter, who goes by the nickname “Ronin”, currently trains out of the Boxer Rebellion Gym and Q23 BJJ School.

Huusansaari is also an experienced Muay Thai competitor who has put together a 3-2 MMA record. “Mad Dog” has been preparing for the upcoming January 7th tilt with Golden Glory in Pattaya alongside UFC veteran Jon Olav Einemo.

The DARE 1/12 event will be hosted by Bangkok’s Club Insomnia and will be broadcast live on DareLive.TV.

According to the promotion’s press release, profits from the event will be donated to help victims of the recent floods in Thailand.
