According to AG Fight, Shogun Rua versus Ovince St. Preux 2 is being targeted for UFC 274, which is scheduled for May 7th. Bout would be contested at light heavyweight. Location will be revealed at a later date.

Shogun Rua and Ovince St. Preux last fought on November of 2014 at UFC Fight Night 56, where St. Preux won via first round TKO. However, St. Preux is looking to bounce back from his most recent bout against Tanner Boser. A bout he lost via second round TKO in the second round.

Shogun Rua has been talking about retirement recently in the past year after losing his last bout against Paul Craig via TKO at UFC 255 November of 2020. Rua has not made a decision yet on his future in the sport. However if this is his last bout, Rua is looking to finish his legendary career on a high note.
