Siyar Bahadurzada Reports UFC Contract Offer

By FCF Staff

Noted Golden Glory welterweight Siyar Bahadurzada is reporting that the Ultimate Fighting Championship has offered him a contract, however, as of yet, no deal has been signed. The 27 year-old, Afghanistan native made the announcement via his official Twitter account.

I’m offered a UFC contract, but nothing is signed yet. My team & I will discuss it & let you know when it’s signed! Thanks for ur patience!

Golden Glory manager Bas Boon has also confirmed that the UFC has made a Bahadurzada an offer, a fighter who was previously signed by Strikeforce, but never appeared for the promotion. The veteran reportedly appears as one of Jason “Mayhem” Miller’s assistant coaches on the upcoming season of “The Ultimate Fighter.”

Bahadurzada (20-4-1) has won six straight fights since he was submitted by former Sengoku middleweight champ Jorge Santiago, at Sengoku’s Sixth Battle card in November, 20098.

Since then the Shooto champion has scored wins over veterans like Leandro Silva, Derrick Noble and John Alessio.

In May, Bahadurzada stopped Tommy Depret to win United Glory’s Welterweight World Series.
