Soa Palelei Stops Fellow UFC Vet Sean McCorkle at Australian Fighting Championship 4

Heavyweight Soa “The Hulk” Palelei won his 8th straight bout at the latest Australian Fighting Championship card this weekend, by stopping fellow UFC vet Sean McCorkle in the first round. Palelei, who now carries a record of 18-3, hasn’t lost since November, 2010, when he was defeated by Daniel Cormier.

The Australian fighter has competed once for the UFC and was stopped by Eddie Sanchez at UFC 79 in 2007.

McCorkle, meanwhile, has lost back-to-back bouts after he winning six straight fights following a submission loss to Christian Morecraft and his UFC exit last year.
