Stipe Miocic Wants Winner of Ciryl Gane vs. Jon Jones
By FCF Staff
Following the news that Jon Jones will battle Ciyrl Gane for the vacated, UFC heavyweight title, Stipe Miocic has made it clear he wants the winner.
This past weekend, the UFC announced that Jones will fight Gane for the vacated title on March 4th. The belt is no longer held by Francis Ngannou, as following a pro-longed, contract dispute with the UFC, the promotion has parted ways with the star.
After news of the Gane – Jones bout came out, Miocic tweeted out the response below.
March 4th – I like it.
I got winner in July.

The 40-year-old Miocic (20-4) hasn’t competed now since July, 2021, when he was KO’d by Ngannou in round two. Miocic, who has won the UFC’s heavyweight title twice, defeated Ngannou by decision in their first meeting, back in 2018.
