Strikeforce Weigh-In Results: Rockhold and Larkin Heavy on First Attempt

Strikeforce held the official weigh-ins this afternoon in preparation for the promotion’s latest event tomorrow night in Portland, Oregon.

According to the Strikeforce Twitter feed, both middleweight champion Luke Rockhold and Lorenz Larkin came in a bit heavy for their respective bouts, as Rockhold weighed in at 185.5 pounds and Larkin came in at 186.5.

Rockhold has been given two hours to make 185 while Larkin also has the same time frame to make 186.

Saturday’s card  will feature two title fights, as Rockhold will take on middleweight contender Tim Kennedy, and the undefeated Tyron Woodley will fight UFC vet Nate Marquardt for the vacant welterweight bout.
