T.J. Grant earned an additional $50,000 in what was his biggest win to date at UFC 160 tonight, as the lightweight was awarded “Knockout of the Night” honors for his first round stoppage of Gray Maynard. Grant stopped the noted wrestler with a flurry of strikes to entrench the award, as well as a title fight with lightweight champ Benson Henderson.

“Fight of the Night”, and an extra 50K each, went to Junior dos Santos and Mark Hunt for their punishing co-main-event, which saw dos Santos finish the fight with a spinning wheel kick and a follow up punch in round three.

“Submission of the Night” was given to light-heavyweight Glover Teixeira, who tapped out James Te Huna with a nicely executed guillotine choke in round one.

UFC 160 was hosted by the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
