Crawford dropped Spence Jr. three times in the fight and ultimately stopped the decorated boxer in round nine.

With the victory, Crawford became the undisputed champion at welterweight, marking the first time a fighter has done so in the four-belt era. Crawford (40-0, 31 KO) was also an undisputed champion at lightweight before moving up in weight.
