Approximately four years after he lost by unanimous decision to middleweight champ Anderson Silva, Thales Leites is heading back to the UFC and will fight Tom Watson on August 3rd. The promotion announced the news via Twitter.

The 31 year-old Leites (20-4) has worked his back to the Octagon by winning three straight fights, and by going 6-1 since he was released by the UFC in 2009.

Most recently the Brazilian scored a second round, submission win over fellow UFC vet Matt Horwich, at an Amazon Forest Combat event last March.

Watson (16-5) is coming off a second round, stoppage win over Stanislav Nedkov at UFC on FUEL TV 7 in February, after losing by split decision to Brad Tavares last September.

UFC 163 will be hosted by the HSCB Arena in Rio de Janeiro and will feature featherweight champ Jose Aldo taking on Anthony Pettis.
