Tim Kennedy Calls For “Fight For the Troops” Bout With Dan Henderson
By FCF Staff
Following Dan Henderson’s quick, stoppage win on Saturday night, it hasn’t taken long for the legend to receive a new challenge, and it’s from a top ten ranked middleweight.
Henderson took out Tim Boetsch with a flurry of brutal punches at UFC Fight Night 68, and recently, Tim Kennedy directed the following Tweet the 44 year-old’s way:
Hey @danhendo CONGRATS on your win. Enjoy the rest. Lets talk to @danawhite about doing a Fight For The Troops card and putting on a show.

Kennedy (18-5) hasn’t fought since last September, when he incurred a controversial, stoppage loss to Yoel Romero. The 35 year-old fighter had won four straight prior to the bout, and was coming off a UD win over Michael Bisping. The decorated soldier is currently ranked #8 in the UFC’s 185 division.
Henderson, meanwhile, moved to 31-13 with the win this weekend, and has gone 2-3 now in his last 5 contests.
