Immediately after Tim Means took out Ricky Rainey this past weekend, “The Dirty Bird” called for a fight with Diego Sanchez, and the welterweight did so again while talking to the media afterwards.

Means finished Rainey off with ground-and-pound strikes in less than 90 seconds at the TUF 28 Finale on Friday, before relaying he wants to face Sanchez next. While speaking to the media backstage, the rugged vet had this to say about his fellow, New Mexico fighter (quotes via MMA Junkie):

“Diego is trash,” Means said. “He’s been running his mouth for a long time, this has been a boiling point since back when I was 17. He thinks he’s better than us, he looks down at us, tells us what he does better. I’m ready to put an exclamation point on his career.

“I’m tired of him running his mouth, telling all his buddies that he’s going to teach me a lesson. That they got the better gym, better than us. Come prove it, little Diego. Prove it.”

Sanchez, meanwhile, is coming off a decision win over Craig White in September.
