Desmond Green only needed 46 seconds to score a victory in his Titan FC debut, as the featherweight quickly put away former WEC champ Miguel Torres last night in Tampa.

Green (13-3) came out firing in the Titan FC 31 headliner, and floored Torres with a series of strikes. The victory returned Green to the win column, after he was submitted by Daniel Weichel at Bellator 119 in May.

Torres (43-8), meanwhile, had won three in a row heading into the fight.

The card did not feature Mike Ricci facing Yoshiyuki Yoshida for the vacant lightweight title as scheduled.

Ricci came in two pounds over weight for the fight, so the bout was changed to a non-title catchweight contest. Yoshida had agreed to the change, however, later on the veteran reportedly changed his mind and withdrew from the event.
