Titan FC Adds Bellator and UFC vet Ben Saunders

Ben Saunders cranking the arm of Luis Santos

Titan FC continues to add notable names to its roster, as the promotion has announced that it’s signed Bellator and UFC vet Ben Saunders to a multi-fight deal.

According to a tweet from the promotion, the 31 year-old Saunders will make his debut at Titan FC 29. The exact date and location for the card has yet to be determined, but it’s expected to take place in late May or early June. No opponent for Saunders was mentioned.

Saunders joins Titan FC after a lengthy run in Bellator, where the American Top Team fighter went 7-3. The only men to defeat Saunders during his time with Bellator were Bryan Baker and current welterweight champ Douglas Lima, who stopped him twice.

Saunders was released by the UFC in 2010, following decision losses to Dennis Hallman and Jon Fitch.

The noted finisher joins Titan FC with a pro record of 16-6-2.
