As many observers predicted would likely be the case, Tito Ortiz knocked out Chuck Liddell to avenge his previous losses to his longtime rival.

Ortiz sent Liddell crashing to the deck with a right hand late in round one and landed a couple more shots before the fight was stopped. The former UFC champs also fought in 2004 and 2006, except Liddell won those bouts via stoppage. The now 48-year-old Liddell hadn’t fought since 2010.

Here are the main card results for Liddell vs. Ortiz 3.

Tito Ortiz def. Chuck Liddell via knockout (punch) – R1, 4:24
Deron Winn def. Tom Lawlor via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
Gleison Tibau def. Efrain Escudero via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
Ricky Palacios def. Walel Watson via knockout (punches) – R1, 3:56
